Updating the Existing Adds.txt File on Blogger

In this article we will see whether how we can update the existing dailymotion ads.txt file on our blogger website.

 

 

 

Well, here you can see that I have received an email form the dailymotion platform an hour ago letting me know to update the existing ads.txt file on my website and a link has also been added to the email to download the file right away. And Instead of downloading the file from here, I am going to sign-in to my dailymotion channel to show you the full process of updating the file.

 

 

Now, sign in to your dailymotion channel and then click on partner HQ under settings. it’s also letting us know about the updated ads.txt file here in the notifications. Now, click on Domains tab under the Embeds tab and click on this link to see the updated version of ads.txt file. 

 

 

On this window, the blue lines are the recommended ones but the red ones are necessary. Anyhow, to update the file, you have two options the first option is to copy the blue and red colored lines and paste them to your existing ads.txt file on your website and the second option is to download the fully updated file and then add it to your website. And instead of coping pasting the lines, I am going to download the fully updated file to add it to my website.

 

 

Now, go to your blogger website and click on settings and find Monetization section by scrolling down and just click on the already added ads.txt file and delete everything in it then just open your newly updated file and copy the code by pressing Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C and then paste it to your website by pressing Ctrl + V and save it. Now the file has been updated on your blogger website.

 

And here you can see that it’s been updated on Dec 12 and at this point in time the link is saying “Update ads.txt with latest version” and when it will crawl my website it will turn to “View your ads.txt file” and here you see that it has crawled my website with-in 24 hours and updated it on dec 13.
