Cropping Videos with VLC Player

 

In this Article we will see how we can crop a video clip in vlc player.

 

Well people like to see videos in cinematic view where we see the video screen cut out from top and bottom. 

 

Anyhow, to crop a video with the help of vlc player, open the video you want to crop, and select “Effects and Filters” under “Tools” tab It will open a small pop up window and here under “Videos Effects” select “Crop” tab and here you can crop the video according to your need from all the four sides.

 

lets for the purpose of demonstration, I crop the video from top and bottom.

 

 

Here you can see that the video has been cropped and certainly giving a cinematic look.

 

Well to apply the effect permanently on your videos, just record it with any screen recorder after applying the cropping effect.
