Embedding Videos on Blogger Post

 

In this tutorial we will see how we can Embed videos in a post of our blogger website

 

 

Well, except youtube, blogger does not provide any other video content’s platform to embed videos directly so far so we need to go to the coding section of the blogger website to paste the embedding link of the video we want to add to our post.

 

 

Well, to embed a video into the blogger website, sign in to your blogger website and click on new post and for the purpose of demonstration, I am going to embed my dailymotion channel video into the post. So to create the post, just copy and paste the heading and description and here you can see that when I click on the “Insert Video” button it does not show any other video content platform except youtube so far. 

 

So to add your video, make some room by putting some spaces and then go to your dailymotion channel and click on this sharing icon and here click on “Embed Video” and copy the embedding link of your video and then go back to your post and click on this pencil dropdown icon and select “HTML View”. Here you just need to remember the line after you want to add your video and here are the paragraph parameter that we use to write a paragraph in html coding and actually these are the spaces we have added before. Now just click in-between any paragraph parameter and paste your video embeding link. And it will automatically save the changes then go back to the “compose view” mode again. Well at this point in time, it’s not showing the video because we are in the editing mode but it’s been added to your post and add a picture to your post if you want. 

 

Moreover, if you want to see whether where exactly the video has been placed, just move your cursor with the help of “arrow Keys” on your keyboard and when your cursor gets smaller, that’s exactly where your video has been placed. So remove the extra spaces carefully and see the “preview” of your post before publishing it and here you can see that the video we have just embedded or added to our post.

 

 

 

Now, go back to your blog and publish it after adding some tags etc. Now refresh the page and view your post by clicking on this “View” icon and this is how your post will look like when someone will read your post.
